Brittany Winkfield is a native of Denver Colorado and currently works full-time as the founder and publisher of Back2Basics Magazine (B2B). After launching B2B in 2012, Brittany transitioned from her professional career in marketing and event planning to focus on B2B full time in 2013. Brittany has extensive experience in the communications field spanning more than 15 years. She was exposed to the publishing industry during high school through an internship at a local Colorado publication, 5280 Magazine.

 

A 2008 graduate of Oakwood University (AL), Brittany studied Communications with a concentration in photo and print journalism with internships at VIBE (NY) and Upscale (GA). She also served as Senior Class President, leading her class to become the first graduating class of Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College). Brittany is a Colorado local and loves to travel with her husband and three daughters.
